| Accommodations Center of Beech Mountain offers a number of great activities all year long. In fact, the resort offers something for everyone. Play a round of golf, take a hike, try one of the many mountain bike trails, play a round of tennis or just relax by the pool. |

| Mountain Biking |

The Beech Mountain Bike Club has developed 11 rugged trails with over 40 miles of adventure for your riding enjoyment. We would like to think we have some of the best mountain biking on Earth. Our club members and sponsors are devoted to developing and keeping our trails maintained for the use of all mountain bikers. Cycling is also permitted on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but not on trails or walkways.

| The private Beech Mountain Club has a magnificent Willard-Byrd designed 18-hole, championship golf course.
Access to the course is available to guests renting from us. Ask for details.

Lake Coffey Course This scenic ¼ mile course wraps around the lake and is perfect for both walking and jogging; Parking Area
Pond Creek Trail This easy to moderate, 2-mile trail begins at Tamarack Road. It follows the creek past Lake Coffey and continues to Locust Ridge Road. The lower end of the trail has a few small waterfalls. Park at Perry Park and hike entire trail from Tamarack Road; or park at Lake Coffey and hike lower end.
Grassy Gap Creek Trail This easy 1.2-mile trail follows the creek from Hawthorn Road and ends at Grassy Gap Creek Road.
Cherry Gap Trail This easy walk runs 1.4 miles from Cherry Gap Road up undeveloped Wild Iris Road. The road will split with both forks intersecting with Bearpaw Path; Parking Area
Falls Trail This wooded ¾ mile trail, with waterfalls, begins at Buckeye Lake where Grassy Gap Creek and Buckeye Creek merge; park at Buckeye Lake Picnic Pavilion.

The private Beech Mountain Club has both hard surface and clay courts at the Tennis Center. Also, Buckeye Lake Recreation Center has both indoor and outdoor tennis courts. |

| Fishing |
 |
|
| Streams and lakes are stocked annually and fishing season runs from the first Saturday in April through the last of February. Buckeye Lake and Lake Coffey on Beech Mountain are stocked with trout. All persons over the age of 16 must have a fishing license to fish in North Carolina public waters. Licenses are available at Fred's General Mercantile; (828) 387-4838 |
